William "Bill" Emmett Mohan

William “Bill” Emmett Mohan, age 83, passed away peacefully at the Winona Health Hospital on Sunday, January 5, 2025. 

As the youngest of ten siblings, Bill had a unique bond with his family, offering unwavering support and kindness throughout his life. 

Bill served in the US Army for four years. 

A passionate historian at heart, Bill found joy in reading and immersing himself in the stories of the past. His travels fueled his curiosity and appreciation for history.

Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Sharon Mohan. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola and Ed; siblings, Maryann, Eugene, Jim, Wayne, Ronald, Ed, Darryl, Michael, and Ellen; two nephews, Jim and Sean; and one niece, Rebecca. 

Per Bill’s request no funeral services will be held. Bill will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Rushford, MN, at a later date. 

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
