William "Bill" Charles Kline

February 19, 1937 — July 31, 2016

William "Bill" Charles Kline, 79, of Winona, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Lake Winona Manor. He was born on February 19, 1937 in Winona to Sylvester and Dorothy (Bell) Kline and was a graduate of Winona Senior High. He served in the Navy from 1957-1961; after which time he was employed until retirement with UPS. Bill loved to travel and especially enjoyed taking many cruises. He spoke many different languages and had a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him. Bill is survived by his children, Pamela (David) McKenzie and Randal (Michelle) Kline; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Troke; brother, John "Jack" Kline; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Donald Troke; and grandson, Dalton Kline. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 360 East Main Street, Winona, with Reverend Monsignor Richard Colletti officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, is assisting the family.
