Wayne L. Denzer

Wayne L. Denzer, 54, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, from injuries suffered in a farm accident at his parent's farm in Minnesota City, MN. Wayne was born February 13, 1954, in Winona, MN, to Lester and Joan (Stewart) Denzer. Wayne graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1972. Wayne married Linda Koetz and they were later divorced. Wayne farmed with his father as well as worked for Badger Construction, Winona Van Norman and most recently had been working for Menards in Winona. Wayne enjoyed going to farm auctions and collecting antique tractors. He was a member of the First Ev. Lutheran Church in Minnesota City, MN.Wayne is survived by is parents, Lester and Joan Denzer of Minnesota City, MN, aunt, Betty Haedtke and uncles, Gilbert (Barbara) Stewart and David Stewart all of Minnesota City, MN. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services are planned for Friday, August 1, 2008, at 10:30am at the First Ev. Lutheran Church in Minnesota City, MN, with the Reverend David Eckert officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Minnesota City, MN. Friends may call on Thursday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be directed to the First Ev.
