Vivian L. Reineccius

February 21, 1946 — June 7, 2014

Vivain L. (Turner) Reineccius formerly of WabashaVivian L. (Turner) Reineccius, 68, went home to be with Jesus on June 7, 2014 at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center with her daughters by her side. Vivian was born in Quincy Township near Plainview, MN on February 21, 1946. She was the daughter of the loving, blended, family of Maynard and Selma Turner of Elba. Vivian and her family were always surrounded by music growing up and she loved to sing. She always had a song in her heart and would randomly burst into song wherever she went. She made everyone smile as you would find her singing while waiting for radiation treatments and handing out pictures she made. Vivian loved to stay very busy caring for plants, feeding the birds, playing bingo, cards, dominos, and making pictures for others. She looked forward to every holiday so she could send a card to family and friends. Birthdays were her favorite to celebrate. Greeting you bright and early with a phone call on your birthday was something she loved to do so she could be the first one to sing to you. At the Wabasha nursing home she would greet the residents with a song, card, candy bar, and a picture she made. Vivian was the loving mother of Tammy (Halpaus) Huber of Nelson, WI, Shelly (Jeff) Snyder of Preston, Paul Viner, John Knoll, Michael Knoll, and David Knoll. Vivian is also survived by her sisters, Gert (Dick) Wilson of Boy River and Lana (Richard) Lange of St. Charles. Her grandchildren, Samantha Spriggle, Serena Snyder, Jesse (Brittany) Snyder, and Brandi Spriggle. Her great-grandchildren, Naji, Samia, Ayub, Nasra, and Hayden. Her Uncle Clifford (Phyllis) Waadevig and Aunt Grace Waadevig. Also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmo, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers. The heart she received from her Lord Jesus Christ transformed her into a beautiful, caring woman who had love and compassion for all around her. Vivian's life has been a true miracle of what God can do, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!
