Viola Marie Kerr (Watts), 84 of St. Charles, formerly of Waterloo, IA, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Olmsted Medical Center Hospital in Rochester.Viola was born September 11, 1927 to William & Marie (Perry) Watts in Cresco, IA. She attended school in Cresco, IA and on May 12, 1946, she married Dazil Herbert Kerr at the family home in Cresco, IA. She was a housewife and the greatest mom and grandma. Viola enjoyed gardening, sewing, shopping, music and spending time with her family. While Viola was living in Waterloo, IA, she was very active in her church, Faith Assembly of God in Elk Run Heights.Viola is survived by four children, Wilma Jean Hutchins, Victor M. (Anna) Kerr, Rox Ann (Raymond) Heim, and Ronald I. (Robin) Kerr; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Watts, Donald Watts and Arthur Watts; two sisters, Louise Sweany and Mildred Olson.She is preceded in death by her mother, father, two step-moms, husband, son, Dazil Kerr Jr.; grandson, Timothy Kerr and a brother, Richard Watts.Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Faith Assembly of God in Elk Run Heights, IA with the Reverend Erik Dees officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Waterloo, IA. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church.
