Victor Kalegaard Huff, 71, of Winona died Thursday March 22, 2007 at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. He was born May 30, 1935 in Pickwick to Carlton and Clara (Larsen) Huff. He attended Pickwick school and graduated from Winona High School. Victor and Virginia Linander were married September 17, 1955 in Pickwick. For the past 30 years he worked for Yellow Cab as their cab and bus mechanic. Victor enjoyed fishing, the Mississippi River and in his younger days was an avid deer hunter. He also liked to play cards and was a huge Viking fan. Survivors include his wife , Ginny, five daughters; Vicki (Greg) Scattum of Minnesota City, Pamela (Dean) Rupprecht of Minnesota City, Mary Lou Huff (Greg Geheren) of Mahtomedi, Kelly (Mike) Meyer of Plymouth and Nicole (Joe) Brothers of Fridley, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister Lucille Burkhalter of Winona. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ruby and four brothers Roy, Irvin, George and Carlton and by a brother-in-law Edward Burkhalter. Funeral Services will be 11AM Tuesday at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church in Winona with the Pastors Paul Welke and James Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Services, Hansen Goodview Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
