With a life surrounded by family and friends, Troy Stephen Fox of Chatfield passed away on May 25th, 2020, at the age of 52.
Troy was born on September 5th, 1967 in Rochester, Minnesota to Robert and Mary (Swiggum) Fox. He grew up in the Rushford area with his siblings until 1974. From there, Troy lived in various places in the Rochester area until he met his soulmate, Amy, in 1997, and moved to Chatfield, Minnesota. They married on September 16th, 2000, then proceeded to raise four beautiful children: Miranda, Nick, Kaylee, and Logan.
Troy joined the Army where he served his country proudly until his medical discharge. From there, he obtained his CDL and started his life on the open road until 2007. After he had his fill of driving truck, Troy wanted to spend more time with his family, so he worked local jobs as a diesel mechanic.
Troy had a life-long passion for music. When he was on stage, he was in his element. He brought a heightened amount of energy to the stage and people were drawn to him. It brought him much happiness to see the joy he brought to others. Fisherman in the morning, motorcyclist in the afternoon, and a movie fanatic at night. Troy enjoyed these hobbies, especially with loved ones.
Troy is survived by his wife, Amy; his daughter, Miranda (Caleb) Fountain, of New York; his son, Nickolas (Amanda) Buenger, of Preston; his daughter, Kaylee, of Chatfield; his son, Logan; his brother, Todd (Lisa), of Elgin; his sister, Julie (John) Craig, of Rochester; his mother, Mary, of Rochester; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, of Pennsylvania; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
