Trinity Marie Peterson, 42, of Winona, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Gundersen Health System. She was born on April 17, 1974 to Peggy Stockman. Trinity graduated from Winona Senior High in 1992. She went on to receive her technical degree as a Nail Technician from Salon Academy. Trinity lived most of her life in Winona, but also spent time living in Alaska. She was employed at GQ, Electric Beach, and most current the owner of Tips to Toes, where she put her talent as a nail tech to work. Trinity took pride in her work by understanding the individual style of each and every one of her clients, and made sure they left feeling beautiful. She was a true artist when it came to nails.
Trinity was a loving and devoted mother to three beautiful children, who meant the world to her. Spending time with them was so important to her. They enjoyed coloring, camping, playing games, and most recent their trip to Florida together. It was most important to her to make as many memories she could for her children. Her love and devotion she has shown her children is evident in each one of them.
Trinity will be remembered for so much. She had a heart of gold that left a mark on all who knew her. Her love for fashion was known: lots of pink, lots of bling, and her rule of "no white after Labor Day". She was full of life, love, and "sassittude", aka...Destiny (as she called it), and when Destiny arrived, she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She was an amazing cook, and loved to share it with those around her. Her daily trip to McDonald's for her coffee with 9 cream, 7 sugar. Trinity looked forward to planting her flowers in her gardens each year. She was full of life, and lived every day to the fullest.
Trinity met the love of her life Jasson Larsen, in high school. Many roads lead them in different directions, but many continued to bring them together. After many years of "stalking" (as her friends joke), their paths finally lead them together forever. A bond that will never be broken. She will always be his "Beauty"
Trinity is survived by the love of her life, Jasson Larsen, her amazing children: Brendan Losinski, Brady Boland, and Bentli "Queenie" Boland, mother, Peggy Stockman; grandmother, Lois (Gill) Munsen; aunts Wendi (Chuck) Mueller, Kelly (Scott) Moore, Heidi (Frank) Dietz, and Lisa (Steve) Toole; many nieces and nephews; Wayne's "Iowa" family; Jasson's family; and her special 4-legged companions. She also leaves behind many friends, all with so many precious memories of times spent together, that are sure to not just put a smile on your face, but bring much laughter; as well as her many loyal clients.
She is proceeded in death by her grandfather, Clarence Mueller; and step-father, Wayne Stockman.
Her family would like to sincerely thank Gundersen Health System's Palliative Care Team, Dr. Agnes and her staff, the many nurses and staff that helped make her last days comfortable for her and those around her. Your hard work, compassion, and dedication did not go unnoticed. We are truly grateful for everything.
The family asks that people wear Pink and Bling in honor of Trinity.
There will be a celebration of life in memory of Trinity, on Saturday, September 17, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, from 11-3. At 3 there will be a time of remembrance lead by Funeral Celebrant Jenny Hoff. There will be fellowship following at Witoka Tavern. Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, is assiting the family.
