Timothy Gerald Pozanc, 58 of rural Lewiston, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his home.Tim was born June 18, 1957 in Winona to Stanley and Leona (Wieczorek) Pozanc. He was raised in Rollingstone and graduated from Winona High School. On May 14, 1977, he married Carol McCormick in Lewiston. Tim worked for Lewiston Co-op, Benson Farm Service and Benson Truck Sales for many years and was always farming on the side. Farming was a true passion of his and eventually he and Carol purchased a farm of their own. Tim loved animals, even raising deer on the farm. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and was happiest in the fresh air on his tractor, farming. Tim was also a very talented mechanic, working on semis, cars and trucks. He was an incredibly hard worker, very caring and giving, he would give you the shirt off his back, even if he didn't know you. Tim could carry on a conversation with anyone. His family was the most important thing to him and he loved them with his whole heart.He will be forever missed by his wife, Carol; two children, Chris (Shana) of Minnesota City and Gretchen (Jake Tesch) of Homer, Alaska; three grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley Pozanc and Parker Tesch, and one more on the way; his parents, Stan and Leona; brothers and sister, Ted Pozanc, Tami (Art) Johns and Troy (Michelle) Pozanc and many nieces and nephews.Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Pozanc; grandparents, Edmond & Gertrude Pozanc and George and Loretta Wieczorek and Carol's parents, Leo & Pearl McCormick.Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Lewiston with a time of remembrance at 7 p.m. Private family burial will take place later.Please share a memory of Tim, sign his online guestbook and view his video tribute when it becomes available at
