Timothy George Daniel, 56, died at home in Stockton on Wednesday, May 25, 2011.Timmy was born February 26, 1955 to Vincent and Esther (Merchlewitz) Daniel, the youngest son in a family of 13 children. For several years, he traveled the country while employed by Hauser Art Glass Company. Creating pieces of art came naturally to Timmy. In his spare time, he built rustic-looking arbors and sold them to many Stockton citizens. A proud gardener, Timmy loved his garden and boasted about his blooming flowers. He enjoyed delivering his flowers to friends in vases of his favorite color, cobalt blue.A simple man at heart, Timmy loved socializing and meeting people. He did not put much emphasis on material goods but treasured spending time with friends and family. Timmy is survived by his four sisters, Teresa Valentine of Minnesota City, Marie (Richard) Petersen of Kellogg, Doris Daniel of Imperial Beach, CA, and Geri (Steve Nahrgang) Jilk of Stockton; two brothers, Dennis (Beverly) Daniel of Lexington, OK, and Joseph (Ann) Daniel of Lewisville, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Esther; one sister, Margaret Daniel; and five brothers, Michael, John, Lawrence, Steven, and Patrick Daniel. He is also survived by special friends, Dixie, Jasmine, and Andrew.A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service-Hansen Goodview Chapel. Memorial service will be at 11am, Saturday, June 11, 2011 with Celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Stockton. Friends and family are invited to a reception in Stockton following the graveside service for a time of food and fellowship.
