Thomas Gustia Haney III, 55, of Elgin formerly of Winona, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at his home. He was born to Thomas Gustia and Beverly (Crawford) Haney II on September 22, 1961. Tom lived in Winona most of his life, but lived in Fountain City for 13 years, before making his home in Elgin in 1997. On May 29, 2000, he married Linda Passow (Pronschinske) at their home. He spent the majority of his life working as a sales man, most recently for Tru Green Chemlawn. He loved hunting, fishing, maintaining his homestead, watching WWE, but most of all loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Melissa (Brad) Modjeski and Jason (Marie) Passow, grandchildren, Violet, Faith, and one on the way; mother, Beverly Haney; siblings, Sheryl (John) Ozmun, Sue (Erich) Gilow, John (Barb) Haney, Dan (Jessica) Haney, Melissa (Pete) Abbott, and Phillip Haney; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Daisy. Tom is preceded in death by his father, Thomas. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, with Funeral Celebrant, Dianne Rislow officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 until the time of service, Friday at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.
