Teresa L. Hauck

Teresa L. Hauck, 91, formerly of Utica, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at The Gardens of Cannon Falls. Teresa was born January 14, 1928 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Frank and Eujenia (Freidt) Gribnau. She and Edward Hauck were married November 4, 1950. Together they raised their nine children. Teresa and Ed farmed near Millville and then moved to Utica in the mid-1980's. She was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and belonged to Catholic daughters. Teresa was also involved in the NFO, 4-H and Farmers Union. She enjoyed her flower gardens, traveling, being with her grandchildren and was known for baking Divinity for the church auction.
Survivors include seven children; David of Utica, Richard (Lynn) of White Bear Lake, Andrew "Mike" (Peggy Pezer) of Oakdale, Susan (Ross) Valdez of Greely, CO, Daniel of Utica, Janet (Jay) Frandrup of Hastings and Carol (Brad) Anderson of Melrose, WI, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two siblings, Pat (Larry) Sale and Barb (Larry) Hippler and three in-laws, Phyllis Gribnau, Darlean Gribnau and Jerry Woock. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 2015, two daughters, Eujenie and Diane, a granddaughter, Tasha and nine siblings; Celia Jacobs, Bill Gribnau, Pius Gribnau, Edward Gribnau, Adam Gribnau, Helen Cabbage, Alice Roselund, Norma Woock and Anthony Gribnau.
A Funeral Mass for Teresa will be at 12 noon Friday, July 19th, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St Charles with The Reverend Tim Biren officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
