Susan M. Burbach

Susan M. Burbach, 105, of Winona, MN died Monday, December 25, 2006 at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona, MN. Susan was born on May 16, 1901 in Winona, MN to Louis and Theresa (Martin) Sturm. On July 28, 1932 she married Isadore Burbach and they later divorced. Susan worked at the Winona Hotel as a kitchen assistant for many years and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Winona, MN. Susan is survived by two children, Norman (Joyce) Burbach of Winona, MN and Joan (Gordon) Schacht of Goodview, MN; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. The funeral service for Susan will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Hoff Funeral Home-Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview, MN. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN.
