Stephen "Steve" Albert Fort

Stephen "Steve" Albert Fort aka "Tork Command" and "Hollywood", 57, of Stockton, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his home. He was born on October 19, 1958 to Kenneth and Darlene (Allen) Fort. Steve served in the United States Army from 1977-1980 and was proud to be a veteran. He owned his own construction business, F & F Construction, where he worked with his son Andrew. Steve loved antiquing, singing and making up songs with his grandsons, and helping anyone who needed it. He had a great sense of humor that will be forever missed. Steve is survived by his son, Andrew (Emma) Fort; daughter, Eve Simon; grandsons, Aiden and Garrett Fort; and siblings, William, Betty, and Debbie. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Kenneth Jr., Jenny "Do-do" and Irene. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 9 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, with Funeral Celebrant Jenny Hoff Officiating. A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, and one hour prior to the service, Friday. Military honors will follow the service by the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel #9. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Stockton, at a later date. Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview, is assisting the family.
