Stephen Kronebusch

ROLLINGSTONE, Minn. - Stephen F. Kronebusch, 89, died Wednesday, Dec.31, 2008, at St. Anne Extended Health Care in Winona, Minn. Stephen was born July 26, 1919, in Altura, Minn., to John B. and Virginia (Frisch) Kronebusch. Stephen married Helen O'Meara in St. Charles, Minn., on Sept. 11, 1954. She preceded Stephen in death on Sept/ 21, 1987. Stephen was a life long farmer near Altura and had been a resident of St. Anne's for a year and a half. Stephen was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Altura.Survivors include his six children, Karl Kronebusch of New York City, N.Y., Clara Kronebusch of Winona, Martha Kronebusch of Brooklyn Center, Minn., Philip (Kim) Kronebusch and their daughter, Natalie, of St.Cloud, Minn., Dennis Kronebusch of Rollingstone, and Patrick Kronebusch of Winona; sisters, Veronica Koelbl of La Crosse, Wis., and Virginia Ann(Clarence) Scherbring of Rollingstone; sisters-in-law, Lucille Kronebusch of Rochester, Minn., and Sister Una O'Meara of Assisi Heights of Rochester; and brothers-in-law, Paul Lethert of St. Paul, Minn., and Albert Schloegel of Winona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; sisters, Ursula, Adeltrude and Mildred; and brothers, Paul, Richard and Norbert.A Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Altura, with the Reverend Marreddy Pothireddy officiating.
