Sone Sacksith

Sone Sacksith, 59, of St. Charles died Sunday April 30, 2006 at his home. He was born September 1, 1946 in Ban Samaia, Saravahn, Laos. He married in 1977 in Thailand and later divorced. In 1980 Sone immigrated to the United States and eventually settled in St. Charles. He worked for Northstar Foods in St. Charles and Strongwell, Inc. of Chatfield until his retirement due to poor health. Survivors of Sone in the United States include four children, Sounthone Sacksith of Rochester; Phonesavanh Sacksith of St. Charles; John Sacksith of Lewiston and Jainee Sacksith of Rochester and two grandchildren. He is also has family living in Laos. Funeral Services will be at 1PM Saturday at Hoff Funeral Home's - St. Charles Chapel. Cremation will follow with burial of Sone's cremated remains in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles at a later date. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home's - St. Charles Chapel.
