Solveig Scroggins

Solveig Scroggins, 90, of Peterson, MN, died Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston, MN. Solveig was born to Alfred and Clara (Ferden) Semmen, on January 31,1935. She was later united in marriage to Robert Scroggins, to this union 1 son, George was born. Solveig worked as a nurse for the veteran’s Hospital for over 25 years.

Solveig was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Robert, son; George, siblings; Kathlen Monsoor, Hildegard Volkman, Elizabeth Hoiland, Alfred Semmen Jr., William Semmen, Douglas Semmen, and Salley Semmen.

She is survived by brother Charles Semmen, sister Margaret Lea, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday February 10, 2025 from 2pm – 4pm at Hoff Funeral Home in Rushford.
