Stockton, Shirley Mueller, 84, of Stockton died Sunday April 5th at Winona Health Services. Shirley was born August 17, 1930 in Winona to Fred and Nora (Anderson) Manke. Shirley and Allan Mueller were married May 16, 1953 at Central Lutheran Church in Winona. They made their home in La Crosse before moving to Winona. In 1959 they settled in Stockton. She worked for Watkins, Rush Products in Lewiston and Winona Public schools where she enjoyed serving meals to the children at the Stockton School. Shirley enjoyed dining out with Allan. She looked forward to the Friday fish fry at Utica, Margarita's at Mango's and the spring opening at the Lakeview Drive In. She also enjoyed watching the steamboats docking Winona as well as seeing the holiday train when it stopped in December. She and Allan enjoyed traveling to places such as South Dakota, Oregon and Denver and especially to Indiana to visit their son and his family. She cherished being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She enjoyed time around the campfire with her children and Allan's grilled chicken. Survivors include her husband Allan, four children; Karen Blaser of Rochester, David (Deb) Mueller of Stockton, Don (Bert) Mueller of Danville, IN and Tammy (Lee) Potter of Stockton, nine grandchildren; Shane Long, Ben, Adam and Heather Mueller, Danielle, Courtney and Phil Mueller, Amanda (Kadin) Harmening and Michelle (Andrew) VanLoon and great-grandchildren; Ailayah Mueller, Alivia Mueller, Janelle, Julian, and Jackson Parsley. Funeral Services will be 11AM Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church in Stockton with the Reverend Matthew Lorfeld officiating. Burial will follow in Lewiston Public Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8PM Wednesday at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview-Winona. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
