Sharon Sullivan-Alvord

Sharon Ann Sullivan-Alvord, 83 of Becker, MN, died Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

Sharon was born July 24, 1939 in La Crosse to John and Berniece (Grebin) Lubinsky.  She graduated from Aquinas High School. She was a devoted Catholic throughout her life.  After her children were grown, she met and married Peter Alvord, the love of her life.  They especially enjoyed golfing together.

She was a spitfire with endless energy who loved to help others. She was an animal lover to the core and gave many endless love in her home.  She loved to plant flowers and she created the most beautiful gardens. 

She is survived by her husband, Peter; three children, Laurie (Joe) Sullivan-Murray, Linda (Rick) Sullivan-Wilkins, & Daniel Sullivan; eight step-children, Christine Reece, Terry (Dwight) Anderson, Jeff (Mei-qi) Alvord, Lynn (Howard) Griffin, Mark (Cindy) Alvord, Dave (Nikki) Alvord, Laurie Alvord & Chuck Alvord; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;  brothers John (Shirley) Lubinsky, Jim (Carlynn) Lubinsky, Bob (Carol) Lubinsky and Sister Barb (Tom) Luka.
