Sharon Mary Gudmundson, 72, of Altura, died Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. Sharon was born in Winona on September 13, 1947 to Gildard and Helen (Lueders) Lehnertz.
She grew up in Rollingstone with her brother John "Jack". She married Larry Gudmundson on April 12, 1969 at St. Johns Lutheran Church. The young couple settled outside of Stockton on the farm. They had three boys together, Shane, Adam, and Nate. She loved her children and paused her working career to watch over her boys. Sharon loved being a mom and being a grandma even more. Everyone of her children and grandchildren knew they were loved. Her birthday cards she sent out never had an open space left. They were filled with words of love and admiration.
She worked at First National Bank, Midland Coop, and then worked at Camera Art for 30 years before retiring. Everyone she came in contact with truly loved Sharon. She also enjoyed bowling, her weekly card club, and in more recent years keeping up with everyone on social media. She was an avid supporter of St. Johns.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; children, Shane (Sarah) and their children, Jaxson, Brody, Branch, Mack; Adam (Melissa) and their children, Torianna, Ashlyn, Ava, Isaiah; Nate; brother, John "Jack" Lehnertz.
