Scott Ringler Jr.

Scott Ringler Jr., "Buddy", was born on August 20, 1989, in Winona, Minnesota, to his loving parents Scott Sr. and Ione Ringler. Buddy died on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Buddy was a proud graduate of Winona Senior High School, Class of 2008. He embarked on a journey of self-discovery, initially pursuing a career in personal training at Viterbo before finding his calling as a mechanic. For 10 years, he dedicated his skills to Wilson Truck and Trailer.

Known for his kind heart and compassion, Scott was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a natural gift for brightening any room he entered, striking up conversations with strangers and leaving them with smiles on their faces. His love for poetry, archery, target shooting, and his joy in spending time with his children were just a few of the many facets that made him unforgettable.

He had a playful spirit, often seen running around and engaging in childlike antics with those around him. Buddy was fiercely competitive, but his competitive spirit was always accompanied by a warm smile and a quick joke to lighten the mood.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Ione Ringler; grandfather, Duane Ringler; ex-wife, Misty Ringler; children, Kade (10) and Rhett (9); sister, Chelsea (Devin) Hormann; niece, Jayda (12); nephew, Kashton (9); close cousin, Tiffanie "Chubba" Parker; best friend, Travis Herber; and many other loving family and friends.

Buddy is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother LaVonne Ringler; maternal grandparents, Scott and Martha Parker; and his beloved dog Emmitt.

Memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center at 11:00a.m. Visitation and a time of fellowship will take place in the event center following the service until 2:00p.m.

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
