Utica, Scott D. Beech, 50, of rural Utica died Monday July 5, 2010 at Lake Winona Manor. Scott was born December 16, 1959 in Winona to David and Margaret (Anderson) Beech. He attended Lewiston-Altura High School. Following high school Scott worked for Anderson Rubbish Removal of Goodview. In February of 1984 he began working for Winona Industries, where he worked until retiring in December of 2007 due to ill health. Scott married Betsy Kreidermacher in 1981. They later divorced. He was later in a relationship with Jody Frey. Together they had a son David. Scott enjoyed mowing his yard, golfing, playing pool, going for drives in the country, eating at Perkins and overnight visits with his friends. Most of all he loved to spend time with his son and granddaughter. Survivors include his son David of Houston, his granddaughter Ava Rose, parents David and Margaret Beech of Lewiston, paternal grandmother Rose Beech of Lewiston, six brothers; Jeffrey (Cindy) Beech of Chatfield, Mike (Patricia) Beech of Cedar Valley, his brother and roommate Kevin Beech of Utica, Chris (Deborah) Beech of Lewiston, Bob Beech of Lewiston and Corey (Theresa) Beech of Winona, a sister Maureen (Art) Sletten of Utica and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George Beech, maternal grandparents Axel and Elsie Anderson, a brother Jimmy, niece Tiffany Dailey Speltz, nephew Adam Dailey, and a step nephew Michael Nygaard. A Funeral Mass will be 11AM Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston with The Reverend Marreddy Pothireddy officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
