Ruby Elsie Teegarden, 94 of Winona, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Boutwells Landing in Stillwater.Ruby was born February 10, 1918 in Winona to Henry & Amelia (Drussel) Mogren. She attended Phelps School, Winona Senior High School and Winona Teachers College. On October 1, 1940, she married William Teegarden. Ruby worked as a homebound teacher for the Winona Public Schools for 20 years. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church, St. Martin's Ladies Aid, Married Couples Club, Lincoln Elementary PTA and the Winona State College Alumni Society. Ruby loved to travel, and her and William traveled extensively throughout the U.S., with some of their favorite trips being Niagara Falls, Washington D.C., New York & Hawaii. They also made annual trips to the North Shore to see the leaves change each fall. She also enjoyed square dancing and card clubs.Ruby is survived by her son, William (Teresa) Teegarden of Marietta, OH; daughter, Lois (Mark) Finney of North Oaks, MN; five grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Pearl Mogren.Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church with the Reverend Vern Kettner officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Minneiska.
