Kirchner, Rosemary A (nee Meyers)Age 79. Was born to eternal life after a courageous battle with emphysema on March 30th 2012. Beloved wife of James for 58 years. Further survived by her daughters Gloria (Butch) Pleau, Barbara (Morgan) Olson, Jill (Sheri) Kirchner, and dear brother David (Joyce) Meyers. Preceeded in death by her parents George and Emily Meyers, sister Patrica and brother Dickey. Rosemary was born in the family home on Mankato Ave in Winona, MN. She was delivered by her grandmother Alice. Rosemary graduated from Winona Senior High and shortly thereafter moved to Waukegon, Il where she met and fell in love with James. They were married August 1st 1953 and moved to Wisconsin. She worked for Briggs and Stratton Corporation for 31 years and was an active member of AFLCIO Local 232 holding many posts. She was a volunteer most of her life with years of service to Catholic Knights, Polish Museum, Volunteer Services, Winona Friendship Center, Eagles Club, and she was a proud member of the Mississippi Red Hatters and the Holy Trinity Parish. Rosemary was the kind of person who would always be there for you. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Her pure heart and unique sense of humor will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 2, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Reverend Thomas Melvin officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at church. The Eagle's Auxillary will take place at 9:45 a.m., also at church. Private family burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona. Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Hansen Goodview chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
