Rosella W. Dorn

Rosella W. Dorn, 94, of Lewiston, MN died Monday, April 9, 2007 at Lewiston Villa Nursing Home in Lewiston, MN. Rosella was born on September 4, 1912, in Lewiston, MN, to Edward and Hulda (Gensmer) Linden. On May 6, 1936, Rosella married Edwin B. Dorn in Lewiston, where they made their home.She was a life long member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston, as well as a member of the Ladies Aide and Dorcas Society. She was a cook for St. John's Lutheran School for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Lewiston American Legion Auxiliary Post #90. Rosella enjoyed playing cards and will be remembered most for the love she shared with her grandchildren and children. She will be dearly missed.Rosella is survived by her two sons, David Dorn and Dennis Dorn both of Lewiston, MN, a daughter, Marilyn (Bruce) Boynton of Lewiston, MN, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin, an infant son Charles W., two sisters, and one brother.The Funeral Service for Rosella will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston, MN with the Reverend David A. Fischer and Reverend Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, April 11 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
