Lewiston, Rosemarie Helen Martha Prigge, 74, of Lewiston died Friday June 24, 2005 in the Emergency Room of Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Rose was born July 8, 1930 in Winona to Arthur and Esther (Rupprecht) Luehmann. She and Richard Meyerhoff were married in 1948, he died in 1958. Rose and Donald Prigge were married on December 26, 1959. Don died September 7, 1985. She and Richard lived in California for a short time. Following her marriage to Don they farmed near Silo, later moving in to Lewiston. Rose had worked for the telephones company and later worked for Riverside Electronics. She owned and operated the Lewiston Liquor, Lewiston Bouquet and Gifts and was an avid sweatshirt crafter. She was a caregiver for her mother, until her death. Rose was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include four children, Thomas (Marsha) Meyerhoff of Spring Valley; Debbie (Craig) Kellstrom of Houston; Susan (Kenny) Lukaszewski of Rollingstone and Carol Pierce of Lewiston, four grandchildren; Christopher and Catie Pierce, Carla Jorgensen and Carian Stevens, one step grandchild, Derek Thorson, seven great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and a sister Joan(John) Sulack of Lee's Summit, MO. In addition to her husband's Richard and Donald she was preceded in death by a daughter Marijo, two sisters Doris and Bonnie, a brother Jack and a grandson. Funeral Services will be 11AM Tuesday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Revs. David A. Fischer and Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday at Hoff Funeral Home's - Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
