Rose Irene Lee

Rose Irene Lee, 85, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Rose was born June 19, 1922, in Money Creek, MN to Clint and Clara (Snure) Burfield. She married Robert Lee on April 25, 1946 in Money Creek, MN. He preceded Rose in death on August 13, 2005. Rose was a lifelong resident of Money Creek and work at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital for 10 year in the laundry department and for 23 years in housekeeping at Community Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was a member of Money Creek Methodist Church. Rose is lovingly remembered as wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Ruth (Henry) Kleist of Rushford, MN; son, Rollie Lee of Winona, MN; 5 grandchildren, James (Lisa) Kleist, Patrick (Michelle) Kleist, Angela (Tom Montgomery) Lee, Heather Larson and Heidi Perry; great grandchildren, Cameron and Jordan Kleist, Hannan and Myriam Zary and Krissy and Autumn Montgomery; and a sister, Helen Walter of Winona, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, sister, Violet and brother, Russell.Funeral services are planned for Saturday, June 30, 2007, at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral Homes - Houston Chapel with the Rev. Daryl Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Money Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
