Rose E. Dorn

Winona Rose E. Dorn, 89, of the Lewiston Villa and formerly of Winona died Friday October 27, 2005 at the Lewiston Villa. Rose was born January 8, 1916 in Plainview to George and Agnes (Houle) Schneider. She and Howard Dorn were married June 30, 1934. They made their home in Winona. Rose worked in the factories during WWII. She later worked as a retail clerk at several area stores including Grants Store in Winona. Rose was a hard worker and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband Howard of the Lewiston Villa, two sons Daniel (Nancy) Dorn and Allen Dorn both of Onalaska, WI, a daughter Judith Dorn of Lewiston, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Dennis and two sisters. Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Monday at Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Tony Hansen officiating. Burial of Rose's cremated body will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services at the church.Hoff Funeral & Cremation Services ?
