Rose A. Mueller

St. Charles, Rosemary "Rose" Mueller, 79 of St. Charles died Tuesday June 21, 2005 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. Rose was born March 20, 1926 in Rollingstone to Mervin and Helen (Daniel) Blace. She and Donald Mueller were married November 20, 1946 in Rollingstone. Together they farmed in Rollingstone until retiring and moving to St. Charles in 1979. Rose continued to be an active member within her church, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where she served as church organist and Eucharistic minister. She delivered meals on wheels for several years. In her later years Rose worked in the kitchen at St. Charles High School and for Kraut Butcher Shop. She had a great love for birds and the outdoors. Donald died May 10, 1991. Survivors include her children, David (Carol) Mueller of Delavan, WI; Ruth (Gary) Welsh of Rochester; Ron of Elba; Joan (Rick) Kukowski of Bellingham, WA; Tom (Deb) Mueller of Mendota Heights; Judy (Dave) Steine of Plum City, WI; Peggy (Lee) Brandenburg of Minneapolis and Jeff (Chrissa) Mueller of St. Charles, her grandchildren, Ashley & Marc Mueller, Kristin and Aaron Welsh, Kyle Mueller, Angela Mueller, Bryon & Ben Steine and Brady Mueller, a sister Marcella Kreidermacher of Rollingstone and two brothers, Bob Blace of Mankato and Gene Blace of Wabasha. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a grandson. There will be a Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Rev. James Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday and 9-10 AM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home's - St. Charles Chapel. There will be a Rosary recited at 4:30 PM and Prayers at 8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice.
