Rosalyn Jean Lehnertz, 84 of Dover, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2015, at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester with family at her side. Rosalyn was born July 10, 1931, in St. Charles, to Donald and Florinda (Manderfeld) Fix. On August 31, 1950, she married Francis Lehnertz in St Charles. In 1958 they settled back in Dover and raised their six children. Rosie was a hard working, strong-willed lady who was always helping others. Her work ethics always found her in a leadership or supervisor position throughout her working career, right up to her retirement from IBM. Rosie stayed active with volunteer work at Whitewater Manor in St Charles and the Eyota Legion Auxiliary. Even after her health began to fail, she helped out with what she could from her home. Rosie loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed visits from friends. Everyone will miss those infamous patio visits. Rosalyn joins her beloved husband Francis (1999); son, Steven (2006); brother Owen Fix (1974) and sister Joan Olson (1997) in Heaven.She is survived by her brother, Donald (Mary) Fix, of Beverly Hills FL.Her children, son, Terrence (Karen) Lehnertz, of Dover; daughters, Linda Lehnertz, of Faribault; Nancy Lehnertz, of White Lake, MI; Kathy Vehrenkamp, of Forest Grove, OR; and son, Mark (Cheryl) Lehnertz of Chatfield. 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren:Granddaughter Angela (Matt) Teal (daughter-Khloe, son-Mason) of Rochester;Grandson Brian (Andrea) Lehnertz (sons-Blake and Landon) of Dover;Granddaughter Amber Crofoot (sons-Kayden and Defante)of Las Vegas, NV.;Grandson Michael Lehnertz (daughter-Taylor) of Forest Lake;Grandson Owen (Jasmine) Lehnertz (daughter-Sierra) of Superior, WI.;Grandson Scott Lehnertz (son-Zachary) of Rochester;Grandson Ben (Kelly) Brobst (daughters-Madison and Brianna, son-Owen) of Eyota;Granddaughter Stacy (Gary) Bohms (daughters-Jessica and Jordan) of Forest Grove, OR.;Grandson Jay Lehnertz (sons-Chaske and Heypa) of Welch.A private family graveside interment will be done at Calvary Cemetery in St. Charles with Father Kurt Farrell from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church officiating. Memorials will go to organizations special to Rosie.
