Ronald James Schultz

It is with deep sorrow we mourn the passing of Ronald James Schultz, 55 of Lewiston, on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester – St. Mary’s Campus with family by his side.

Ron was born June 24, 1969 in La Crosse to James and Sharon (Devine) Schultz. He graduated from Onalaska High School and Winona State University. After graduation, Ron worked at Shopko for a few years before beginning his career at Target. It was at Target that he met his best friend and “the one,” Jennifer Fox. They were married on October 13, 2001.

Ron will be remembered as an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs, maintaining a playful rivalry with everyone else in his family. He was very active with the Scouts throughout the years and was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical in Lewiston.

His two boys, Zach and Josh, were his pride and joy. Ron loved being a father and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loved. Ron could light up a room with his smile or one of his famous dad jokes. Quoting movies was often part of Ron’s dialogue and we will miss his fun-loving critiques of those movies.

Ron will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Jennifer; two sons, Zach and Josh; parents, James and Sharon; brother, Rod (Kelly); and his in-laws, Diane Fox, Susan Fox, Stephanie Fox and his two nieces, Jayda and Angel, along with his favorite four-legged friend Zoey.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Michael J. Fox and his grandparents.

Memorial Service will be 5 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024 at St. Paul’s Evangelical in Lewiston with the Reverend Tami Groth officiating. Visitation will be 3 p.m., until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to support the education of Ron’s boys.
