Ronald C. Sanden, 85, of St. Charles, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester, Minnesota. Ronald Claire Sanden was born on April 6, 1937 to parents Clarence and Lucille (Kammer) Sanden in Rochester, MN.

Ron loved farming in his early years, then went to work for Crenlo in Rochester for 34 years before retiring. Ron loved gardening and doing yardwork with his John Deere tractor. Ron also loved tinkering in his garage, always smoking his pipe. He always had the best smelling tobacco! Ron always had a knack for striking up a conversation and storytelling. He was married to the love of his life, Kathleen for 58 years. He cherished time spent with family and always had a smile on his face.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Sanden; son, Todd Sanden and his wife Rosie; grandchildren, Brock, Kayla, and Abigail Sanden; and sister, Marlene Ploetz.

Funeral services for Ronald Sanden will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 555 E 12th St, St. Charles, MN, followed by a graveside service at Saratoga Cemetery. Pastor Thomas Fast will officiate. A visitation will be held Friday, May 20th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles.

Memorials received will be donated to Seasons Hospice.
