RUSHFORD, Minn. ? Ronald H. Frisby, 83 of Rushford died Thursday, October 16, 2003 at his home. Ronald was born June 29, 1920 to George T. and Bessie (Littlefield) Frisby in rural St. Charles, MN. He graduated from St. Charles High School. He married Valora Wraalstad on October 3, 1942, and served 4 years in the Army during WWII. He attended the University of Minnesota Agricultural School for two years.He was the manager of the Utica Co-op Creamery for 15 years, and later an engineer at Assisi Heights in Rochester for 14 years. After his retirement in 1982, the couple moved to Brackettville, TX and later to Rushford, MN. Ronald was a life long member of the American Legion and a charter member of the Sons of Legionaires in St. Charles. He was a member of the American Radio Relay League of HAM Radio Operators.He is survived by his wife Valora, four sons, Don (Sally) Frisby, Galesville, WI, Robert (Carol) Frisby, Rochester, MN, Thomas (Kathleen) Frisby, Houston, MN, James Frisby, Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and a sister Margaret Byrd, Rushford. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, and one granddaughter.A military memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. during the visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 that is from 5-8 p.m. at the Hoff Funeral Home in Rushford. The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, at Saratoga Cemetery with Military Honors.
