Rodney J. Brion

Rodney Brion, age 60, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 19, 2022.  Rod was born September 6, 1961 to Francis and Norma (Bauer) Brion in Durand, WI.  After graduation from Mondovi High he farmed in Mondovi for several years.

Rod started working for Pelke Plumbing in Durand in 1993.  He received his Master Plumbing License in 2001 and started Brion Plumbing in 2002 in the Lewiston Area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with his dogs.

Rod had to give up his business in 2020 due to health reasons. All through his many visits to Mayo, Rod always kept his spirits high.

Rod is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Berger and Jennifer (Ben Schieber) Weber; grandchildren, Cameron, Cody, Kollins, Peyton, Gus, Franklin, and Penny; siblings, Kenneth (Brenda) Brion of Mondovi, WI, Kathy (Larry) Becker of Holcombe, WI, Judy (Jeff) Laehn of Gilmanton, WI, Becky (Randy) Lindstrom of Durand, WI, Robert (Kathy) Brion of Hudson, WI, Rick (Patty) Brion of Hudson, WI, Emmy (Brent) Bauer of Durand, WI, Carol (Larry) Deetz of Mondovi, WI; and sister-in-law, Rosy Brion of Durand, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Norma Brion and brother, Michael.

A celebration of Rod’s life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, 3480 Service Dr, Goodview, MN.
