GOODVIEW, MINN. - Robert Lee Marshall, 80, of Goodview, died on Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the Lake Winona Manor in Winona, Minn. Robert was born on December 30, 1925, in Bevier, Missouri to William and Ora (Powers) Marshall. Robert was raised in Missouri and graduated from Elmira High School in Elmira, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Japan. On July 3, 1948, Robert married Marian Fonfara in Chicago, Ill. He worked in Chicago for 15 years at the naval ordinance plant. He then moved to Arcadia, Wis. for five years, during which time he worked at the box factory. From Arcadia Robert moved to Milwaukee, Wis. where both he and Marian worked for the Master Lock Company for 16 years. He then moved to Trempealeau, Wis. and later in 1983, to Winona, Minn. Robert's interests included Fishing, Hunting, Dogs and Birds. Robert is survived by his wife, Marian; and two nieces: Linda Iantorno of Chicago, and Phyllis Johnson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Visitation for Robert will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center (3480 Service Drive), Goodview, Minn.
