Robert K. Faas, 77, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Robert was born November 25, 1930, in LaCrosse, WI, to William and Mabel (Johnson) Faas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bob married Carol Boesen and were later divorced. Together they had three sons, Kenneth, Jeffrey and David. Bob married Betty Boehmke on December 21, 1974 in Goodview, MN. Bob was an over the road truck driver and worked for many companies including Airlite, UOP Norplex, Bud Meyer, Dave Hittner and most recently Foodliner. He was member of Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church. Bob loved being a trucker, enjoyed camping, meeting with friends for coffee and wintering in Texas with his wife for the past four years.Survivors include his wife, Betty; three sons, Kenneth (Jenelle) of Winona, MN, Jeffrey (Kim) and David both of LaCrosse, WI; three step sons, Jeffrey (Maria) McDonald of Kansas City, Brian (Vicki) McDonald of Minnesota City, MN and Steve McDonald of Winona, MN; 12 grandchildren; a great grandson; brother, William (Lois) Faas of Onalaska, WI; and three sisters, Betty of West Salem, WI, Beverly Hansen of LaCrosse, WI, and Marlene (Donald) Horstman of West Salem, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen "Dolly". Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 11:00am at Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Wilson, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel on Tuesday from 4-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
