Robert "Bob" Golden

Robert Floyd “Bob” Golden, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles.

Bob was born December 22, 1940 in Montevideo, MN to Floyd and Hazel (Anderson) Golden. He graduated from Central High School in Montevideo in 1958.  Following high school Bob enlisted in the United States Army, serving five years.

Bob worked retail in hardware throughout his life, retiring from Daniel’s Hardware of Winona in 2015.

Bob enjoyed classic cars, music (Especially Buddy Holly) and taking care of his lawn.

Survivors include his children, Kathy Moore, Karen Golden, Kenny Golden, Kacey Golden, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife Katie Golden and their children, Matt Golden and Molly Golden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Hazel Golden, a brother Richard Golden, son Kevin Golden and his first wife Mert Golden.

Bob will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Union Cemetery – Chatfield.
