Robert Charles Tlougan, 88 of St. Charles and formerly of Viola died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Golden Living Center in St. Charles. Bob was born September 3, 1927 in Quincy Township, Olmsted County to Alfred and Florence (Kramer) Tlougan. He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. Bob was an organic farmer who loved his John Deere 2-Cylinder Tractors, Chrysler cars, Dodge trucks, gardening and especially dancing. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester.He is survived by three brothers, Bernard Tlougan of Rochester, Leonard (Janice) Tlougan of Rochester, and Romeo Tlougan of Kasson; three sisters, Ione (Bud) Leitzen of Rochester, Jeanette Flanders of Rochester and Marcella (Larry) Swenson of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 1 sister.Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Reverend Kurt Farrell officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service. He will be laid to rest at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Elba.
