Robert "Bob" Smith, 64 of Winona, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Winona Health with family by his side. Bob was born on March 27, 1955 in Rochester to Lyle and Violet (Raveill) Smith. He attended Lewiston High School and then VoTech where he graduated with a degree in small engine repair. He was married to Julie Kreidermacher but they later divorced. Bob worked several different jobs, including IBM, Benchmark, with the Lewiston Police Department, and even owned his own small engine repair shop. He was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed planting trees for the deer and he especially loved celebrating his family's birthdays because it always meant they were together. Bob also loved traveling places on his motorcycle.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Paul Smith, Ruth (Joe) Grulkowski, Judy (Richard) Dickson, Leon (Babe) Smith, Clarence Smith, Lavonne (Bill Wieczorek) Selden, and Diannia (LeRoy) Scherbring; nieces and nephews, Rozanne, Julie, Susan, Alice, Curtis, Donald, Dave, Shelly, Kim, Noel, Erik, Corey, Kevin, Kyle, Jessica, Kassandra, Matt, Stacey, and Lisa; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kathy Halling, Doug, Dan and Betsy, Keith Speltz, Diane Wieczorek, and Kathy (Allen) Peak.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin; niece, Phyllis; nephew, Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Dickson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview with Deacon Justin Green officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m., until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date. Please leave a memory of Bob at
