Robert “Bob” Bernadot, 69, of Winona, Minnesota passed away on May 23, 2024.
Bob was born on August 8, 1954 in Elko, Nevada to Allyn and Mildred (Groff). During his childhood they moved to Winona, Minnesota to be closer to family. He lived in the same house since his childhood on the East of Winona where he was known by many of the “East Enders” as “Bernie”.
Bob was known as a great softball player back in the day. He also enjoyed playing pool, and pheasant hunting. Bob was known to listen to “tunes” out in his car in the driveway for hours. He often mentioned his time working at Ramer’s Fish market and EMD. However, the job he most enjoyed was being a self employed carpenter.
Bob is survived by his two daughters, Amy Bernadot and Michelle (Matt) Storlie and his granddaughter, Hayden Storlie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allyn and Mildred Bernadot and his brother, David Bernadot.
A private service will be held in Bob’s honor.
