Ricky Schultz

Ricky John Schultz, 61, of Lewiston, MN passed away at Mayo Health Systems in La Crosse, WI on Thursday, September 14, 2023 after a short, courageous battle with a lung disease.

He was born on September 19, 1961 in Winona, MN to Victor Schultz and Callista (Peterson) Newburn. He was married to the love of his life, Brenda, for 25 years.

Rick enjoyed a variety of things, but mostly he loved the time he spent with his family. His world revolved around his whole family, but most important to him, were his grandchildren. He enjoyed experiencing life with them and he lives on in everything Madison and Kaelynn do. He will be remembered for his eccentric personality and love of tinkering with anything and everything he could get his hands on. Rick never turned anyone down when they needed a helping hand. He will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife Brenda of Wyattville. His mother Callista of Arizona. His two daughters, Stephanie of Goodview and Chelsea of Rochester. His two favorite people, his grandchildren, Madison and Kaelynn. His grandcat, Mister Mew, and granddog, Bailey Mae. His siblings Danny of Florida and Vicki of Wisconsin. Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Victor. His brothers, Mark, Jeffery, Randy and Tim.
