Richard W. Mattison

Richard W. Mattison, 59, died Monday, September 18, 2006, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Richard was born June 21, 1947, in Fergus Falls, MN. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Joy Schumacher on November 26, 1982. Richard worked as a salesman for many years. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and hiking. He was a member of Trout Unlimited and T.K.E. Richard is lovingly remembered for his barbequing and cooking.Survivors include his wife, Joy; daughter, Holly Mattison of Winona; two sisters, Theresa (Michael) Godfrey of White Bear Lake, MN and Sharon (Stan) Danukos of Maplewood, MN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary and step-father, Dr. Percy Mattison.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church with the Reverend Mark Dumke officiating.
