HOUSTON, MINN. Richard Earl Muller, 69 died November 11, 2004 at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. He was born November 7, 1935 to Karl and Sophia (Steinfeldt) Muller in La Moille, MN. He married Barbara Odegaarden on December 8, 1956 in Houston, MN, where they resided for the past 32 years. He worked in the maintenance division of Brach Confections of Winona, MN for 23 years before retiring. He was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church of Houston. He enjoyed woodworking and built numerous pieces of furniture and wood carvings. He is survived by his wife Barbara, four children; Randy (Mary) Muller, Houston, Terry Muller, Winona, MN, Darcy (Ricky) Kjelbertson, Granville, ND, Troy (Patricia) Muller, Winona, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Alicia (Halverson) Beltz, Tyler Halverson,; Nick, Nathan, Trevor, Jayden, Shelby and Tanner Miller; Jennifer and Karen Muller; Isaac, Mitchel, and Alec Muller; one great grandchild Chase Beltz; one brother Robert (Victoria) Muller, Galesville, WI, sister Shirley (Roger) Schmidt, Fountain City, WI, brother-in-law Dennis (Debbie) Odegaarden, Brownsville, MN and mother-in-law Verna Odegaarden, Houston, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alvin Muller, and grandson Zachery Muller. Richard and his sense of humor and compassion for others will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston on Tuesday, November16, 2004. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at Hoff Funeral Homes Houston Chapel, and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery in Houston..
