Richard "Dick" Singer

Richard “Dick” Carl Singer, 85 of Winona, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic Health System – La Crosse on Friday, February 9, 2024.

Dick was born October 11, 1938 in Minnesota City to Joseph and Lydia (Leerkamp) Singer.  He attended Winona Schools before enlisting in the United States Air Force where he served as a jet engine mechanic for 8 years.  While in the Air Force, he met Sharon Pierce and they were married in 1963 in Peru, Indiana.  Dick worked for Badger Equipment from 1968 until his retirement in 2001.

Dick enjoyed fishing and hunting and looked forward to playing Euchre with his friends at EB’s Corner.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Tim and Richie; sister, Kathy Meyers; two brothers, Max Singer and Dean (Sharon) Singer; and sister-in-law, Mary Singer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob and Donnie.
