Richard A. Luehmann

LEWISTON, MINN. - Richard A. Luehmann, 76, of Lewiston, Minn. died on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Winona Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, Minn. Richard was born on July 10, 1929, in Lewiston, Minn. to William and Amanda (Steuernagle) Luehmann. Richard lived his entire life in the Lewiston area. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1947. On June 17, 1956, he married Lucille Mattson at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewiston. He farmed in the Lewiston area for many years. He and his wife, Lucille enjoyed traveling together. Richard was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewiston. Richard is survived by his wife Lucille; one brother, Wesley (Jeanette) Luehmann of Rochester, Minn.; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Rev. David A. Fischer and the Rev. Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lewiston. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Hoff Funeral Homes - Lewiston Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
