Rev. Donald Lovejoy

Reverend Donald Lovejoy, 78, of Bartow, GA and formerly of Rochester died Tuesday April 24th in Bartow. Reverend Lovejoy was born in Rochester and was a minister in the United Methodist Church for 22 years. He lived in Bartow the past three years. Reverend Lovejoy had served as a minister (Major) in the Salvation Army for 35 years. He had been a member of the Optimist, Kiwanis and had served as president of the Lions Club while in Minnesota. Rev. Lovejoy married Ruth Marie Doty, she survives. He is further survived by his children, Connie (Len) Holt of South Bend; IN, Dr. Donald (Lois) Lovejoy of Winona; Rick (Victoria) Lovejoy of Central, SC; Randy (Rene) Lovejoy of Ben Wheeler, TX; Andrew (Gretchen) Lovejoy of Spring Valley, MN and Lori (Rev. Tucker) Lewis of Wrightsville, GA, 12 grandchildren, a brother, Earl Lovejoy of Amery, WI, a sister, Dorothy Plunkett of LaMesa, CA and a sister-in-law Aline Lovejoy of Rochester. Funeral Services will be 11AM Monday at the Salvation Army Citadel in Rochester. Friends may call from 3-6 PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral Home's, St. Charles Chapel. Friends may also call one hour before services at the Citadel on Monday. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Please share a memory or condolence at Rev.
