Rebecca Brantner

Rebecca “Becky” Cecile Brantner, 61 of Winona, died Friday, July 26, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Becky was born January 30, 1963 in Blue Island, IL to William and Evelyn (Bankston) Brinkmeyer. On July 20, 1984 she married her soulmate and partner in crime, Donald Brantner. They just celebrated 40 wonderful years together.

Becky enjoyed spending time with her family and especially spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Throughout the years, she worked as a bartender and became like a mother to many of her customers, always watching out for them.

She is survived by her husband, Don; four sons, Seth (Jessica), Shawn (Jessi), Shane and Stefan (Tiffany); grandchildren, Alexis, Elliott, Harper, Liam, Mila, Cole, Luke, Sophie, Graham, Lucy, Henry, Otto and Baby Crew Brantner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Denise Sheehan and Diana Brown; daughter-in-law, Erica; niece, Devon and cousin, Trudi.

A celebration of her life will be 9 a.m., - 2 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Holzinger Lodge where Don and Becky’s 40 years of marriage will also be celebrated.
