St. Charles Raymond F. Heim, 60, of St. Charles died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at his home. He was born June 10, 1952 in Rochester to Edward and Jeanette (Britnall) Heim. Raymond was raised on the family farm in Elba Township and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1970. He and RoxAnn Kerr were married on April 17, 1982 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Elba. They made their home in St. Charles. Raymond worked for Hubbard Co. in Altura, Severson Trucking of Winona and Salvation Army in Rochester for several years until retiring due to his health in 2007. Raymond was a faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Raymond enjoyed trying to fix things. He also liked to watch western movies and spend time with his children and grandson. Survivors include his wife RoxAnn, daughter Nicole of Rochester, son Cody at home, grandson Caleb Kitson Heim, two sisters, Kathy and Nancy of Rochester, a niece Jennifer Murphy and a great-nephew Damien. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary and an infant brother. A Funeral Mass will be 10AM Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverend Kurt Farrell officiating. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Elba. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Friday at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Saturday.
