Randy Northrup

Randy Northrup, 62, passed away on June 14, 2024. Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on December 8, 1961, to Jerry and Ida Northrup, Randy spent most of his life in Winona, Minnesota. He attended Winona High School and later held various jobs in the area, from dishwashing at the Hot Fish Shop to bartending and selling cars.

On February 14, 1988, Randy married, Shelly Jorde. Together they raised two wonderful daughters, Marissa and Miranda. Randy's joy in life came from watching car racing, both on dirt tracks and NASCAR events. He would travel far and wide to catch his favorite races and always had a soft spot for classic car shows and antique shopping.

The man known for his sense of humor, captivating storytelling, and boundless generosity will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. Randy had a way of seeing the best in everyone and never shied away from a challenge.

Randy is survived by his mom; Ida; sister, Terri; ex-wife, Shelly; daughters, Marissa, and Miranda; and his nieces, Jackie, Tina, and Cassie.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry; and many other close family members.

As we celebrate Randy's life and the memories we shared with him, funeral services and ceremonies will be held to honor his legacy. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center from 11a.m. to 1p.m. A memorial service will start at 1p.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center on Saturday, June 29, 2024. A private family interment will take place following the service. May Randy rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
