Randy Kramer

Randy D. Kramer, 63, of St. Charles died Friday, August 2, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester St. Mary’s Campus. Randy was born February 17, 1961, in Rochester to Duwane and Grace (Hallaway) Kramer. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1979 and subsequently joined the United States Air Force. During his service, he achieved the rank of Sergeant and served during the Persian Gulf conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1992. Randy and Lori (Pflughoeft) Roberton were married on July 11, 1998, in St. Charles. Randy worked as a manager for Subway and Hardee's restaurants in Rochester until retiring due to his health. Randy enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching older TV shows, puzzles and, cheering for his Twins and Vikings. He was a casual guy and enjoyed eating sweets. Survivors include his wife, Lori, daughter, Anna Kramer of Minneapolis, step-son Zach (Whitney) Roberton of Lewiston, four grandchildren, Mariya and Dannika Roberton, Josh and Aniah Stone, and a sister, Deborah Kramer of Bullhead City, AZ. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy, Jr, and his parents. Burial will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Preston. A celebration of life will be planned for the fall.
